CHANGES AHEAD

ChangeAhead_shutterstock_180863876-sml

With the release of our new Exclusive Vertilux Blind Fabric Ranges, mentioned above, there will be changes to the fabrics that we will no longer sample. These fabrics will move to the section of ‘Non-Exclusive – External Suppliers (Not Sampled by Vertilux)’ in the attached PDF.

There are some major changes that we need to bring to your attention, such as Pilbarra Plus (Hunter Douglas’s Plaza Plus) which has now moved from Price Group 1 to Price Group 3 and Wicker (Mermet’s Seychelles) which has gone from Price Group 7 to Price Group 8.

Many of the prices have skyrocketed over the past 6+ months and we have been holding the price firm until we could offer you our great new fabric ranges (as mentioned above). Other fabrics affected are Ocean, Ying Plus, Kool-View Eco, Bellarine, Kool-Text and Silverview 5%. These fabrics will still be available, from the relevant supplier, to use on our blind systems, so please don’t despair, just take into account the new price groups going forward. Please check the list for the new price groups.

To assist in this transition however, the new price groups will not come into affect until 1 October 2015.

NEW TECHWOOD HAS LANDED!

TECHWOOD_colours

As per our previous advice the Fibrewood stocks are now depleted and at last the Techwood stock has arrived. The sampling swatches will be with you soon to replace the Fibrewood in your Timber Venetian Samplers. There are 5 colours in each of the 50mm and 63mm.

It is a very economical alternative to timber in our Venetian Blind range. Techwood is made from PVC co-extrusion. It is completely washable and will not absorb moisture and is suitable for wet and humid areas including bathrooms and kitchens.

The new data sheet is available on the website to download or click here.

NEW WEBSITE NOW LAUNCHED

new-web-facepage As we herald the launch of the new 2015 Blind Fabric Range, we invite you to view them on the newly upgraded Vertilux website. The new website is fresher and brighter, and with so much more product and detail. Our newly released Healthcare Fabric Ranges have their own web page under the Materials tab and the Mottura by Vertilux curtain tracks, now sit proudly for your viewing under the Systems tab.
Blind_filtering As we have said, all the new blind fabrics are there, and we now have installed a filtering tab to help you do a quick search of just the right fabric. Perhaps you need to know which of our fabrics meet our environmental Greenvision Fabric Range credentials or you just want to look at the Translucent fabrics on offer, no problem, just hit the tab and they will all be there for you to choose from.
1x1
Factory_process In the Members area we have separated your ‘Current Orders’ and ‘Recent Despatches’ to two separate pages, just a click away, for easier reading and printing. Also to condense the page we now only show you the actual ‘Factory Process’ that your order was last scanned at rather than all the production steps (be honest, you only want to know where it is, not where it has been).

As always, we really do welcome your feedback and our Marketing Manager, Paula Dawes, would be happy to hear from you with your ideas and thoughts on the web site or listen to your suggestions. Please email her at paula@vertilux.com.au

SOLAR MOTORISED ROLLER BLINDS – and the winter months

sun We are about half way through the winter months and with this comes a need to alert you to taking into account the selection of the correct Solar Panel relevant to the amount of light that the blinds you are installing have available to keep them charged. With much lower light available at this time of year compared to the sunny summer months we recommend you invest in a Solar Meter to assess how much light the area is getting to be sure the blinds stay charged.
solar-meter The Solar Meter at $60.00 is a small cost for insurance against the blinds not charging due to lack of light. Click Here for the data sheet.
