Did you realise that it is just 8 weeks until Christmas? Yahoo, don’t you just love this time of year and all that it brings. The rush for Pre-Christmas delivery is well and truly on, make no mistake about that, as your wonderful orders come flooding in. So keep them coming.

VENETIAN WOVEN POLYESTER LADDER TAPE at last!!

	To assist you in selling this stylish option, over the standard ladder, we have made a simple and easy to use pocketed Sample Card that sits in your Timber Colour Sampler, just after the surcharges insert. It is a clear sleeve with an insert showing the colours available, as per images on the left of screen. There are four (4) colours of quality woven polyester tape in White, Brown, Grey and Black for use on our 50mm Aluminium Venetians, Cedarline and Techwood Venetians. Suitable for most colours and blade widths, please refer to the chart on the brochure and back of the Sample Card. We have listed this option on our Timber Venetians web page. VERTILUX SOLAR MOTOR – FORWARD NOTICE OF PRICE INCREASE
	Whilst we don’t like to have to increase our prices we have no choice but to do so with costs having risen approximately 15%. However, it’s not all bad news.. As always we like to give you as much advance notice as possible. So, the new prices will be applicable on all orders placed, effective from ALL orders placed from 1 January 2016. Plenty of time to get those quotes supplied at the current prices. We have a new PDF Pricelist coming out next week and the printed versions in another few weeks after that.
WE NEED YOUR ORDERS TO TICK ALL THE BOXES PLEASE – for accurate production
	MDF Fabric Covered Pelmets As per the price list the standard drop is 150mm and projection is 130mm for our very popular MDF Fabric Covered Pelmets. To ensure that we make the Pelmet to exactly what you need, we must ask that you confirm this detail (150mm x 130mm) on your order or advise us of your custom size requirements. Fabric colours available with White or Grey Back To ensure that there is no delay in processing your order, please ensure that you have noted the fabric colour and which back colour (white or grey) you require. For example: Madison Two Ghost and Madison Two Champagne have a choice of either white back or grey back.
CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION CUT-OFF DATES AND OFFICE CLOSURE DATES – must know dates
	Keep these dates to hand. Cut-off dates are listed below (and are now shown at the top of your ‘Current Orders’ and ‘Recent Despatches’ web pages) to ensure orders are placed in time for delivery of your order prior to the Christmas close. Also note that the Vertilux Tullamarine office and production will close on Tuesday 22 December 2015 and re-open on Monday 11 January 2016.

WEBSITE UPDATE – Member login is moving
	As advised last month we have now moved your Members Login down to the bottom bar. This was done so that we could position the new Search Engine, our latest addition to the website into that spot. This is a much sought after tool for all user friendly websites. VICTORIAN PUBLIC HOLIDAY – Melbourne Cup Day
	Melbourne Cup Day, Tuesday 3 November 2015, is a public holiday across all of Victoria unless an alternate local holiday has been arranged by non-metro council. Whilst Victoria may have a public holiday for this ‘race that stops the nation’ I am sure many of you will be enjoying this one time of year when we all have some fun with a few dollars spent on a Sweep Stake or that venture into the TAB, along with a glass of bubbles and chicken lunch. So whichever way you choose to enjoy this famous race, good luck!!
