The blind systems installed across the large span windows of the building include a mix of systems; from the Easydrive Roller Blind Systems, utilising Vertilux GreenvisionTM Euroscreen Metallised fabric, in colour Oxide to the Vertilux Easydrive Spring Assist Roller Blind Systems, the Single Fascia Kassett systems and also the Motorised Roller Blind System.

Project Solutions: Utilising their large stocks of Green Star compliant fabrics, Vertilux successfully installed approximately 3,000 blind systems within a three-month time frame, receiving praise from the Senior Project Manager, who applauded the installation efficiency and quality of the Vertilux product. Due to the building’s stringent environmental and sustainability development criteria, it has exceeded the requirements for a 5 Star Green Star rating, and is on the brink of reaching the highest possible rating of 6 stars. The building was oriented and massed to be self shaded with a single glazed façade to minimise the amount of heat and energy absorbed by the building, however Vertilux’s sustainable blinds have proven to be an essential component of the building, as the self-shading windows designed for the Western Australian climate were not sufficient to combat the sun’s glare in summer months.
